It looks great! You are lucky that you have laminate counters. Mine are all tile and grout! (We need a new spelling of grout because it is certainly a 4 letter word!). Thanks for the heads up on the min wax. I have a couple of places that I can use it!

It looks great! I just put a contract on a house with THE ugliest kitchen cabinets/counter tops/fake brick walls. I've been looking around at ideas for painting the counters, and the kits are so expensive. Thanks for sharing your experience, I can't wait to try it.

It does clean very well. I forgot to mention that I used a paste polish on it a while back and it wipes clean. The paste polish (made by Minwax) helps preserve the surface. (I've used it on wood furniture too.)
